I am seven months old now. I wake up at 5.30am every morning. I can finally move from a sitting position onto my belly without slamming my face into the ground, which is nice. My latest obsession is the pin that locks the window and I want to try and pull it out every day. I have figured out how to crawl on my belly from one room to another – hey! I’m in the kitchen now! – and am doing lots of excellent fun things like pulling draws open, pulling glasses off people’s faces, and stuffing loads of food into my mouth every meal time and choking. I’m not really sure what choking is but I don’t like it very much. A couple of times Mum has had to pick me up and thump me on the back. I’m not allowed to have watermelon any more.
